Blue Dresses- Like pink and purple, there are different shades of blue. Blue usually is a conservative color. The last two times I was a bridesmaid in a wedding, our bridesmaid dresses were a light blue. Characteristics of light blue are creativeness, perceptiveness, and sensitivity. Skin tones that usually coordinate well with light blue are pale and white. Natural brunettes, or blondes with lighter colored eyes fall under this category. Dark blue is great for bringing out light blue, green, gray eyes. Navy blue is recommended for those who have pale white, olive, or dark skin. People who wear navy blue usually look responsible, intelligent, and independent. Navy blue is sharp, and compliments those skin tones. Blue looks great on mother of bride dresses, evening dresses, and for prom.
